Ut oh... I'm running out of February!

My son and I have taken on a project to have every student at Marblehead High School sign an "Any Hero" card for OWH.  The projected date for signing is March 5th.  I've made 37 so far using the above designs.  Any card designs YOU'd like to share will be greatly appreciated... :)  Only 963 to go... yikes!!!

Thinking "Any Hero" cards...

Did you ever have one of those nights where a million worries are going thru your head?  And since I couldn't sleep, I got up and made cards.  This is using Sketch #108 from the Stars and Stripes section of the OWH website...

Using stuff up...

I have so many miscellaneous items in my scrapbooking and card-making "stash" that I decided to give myself a challenge and make ten cards out of them.  Here are the first two.  The little envelope in card #1, I have had for over ten years... yikes!

An old stand-by...

This is a technique I learned from my friend Barb (a phenomenal card-maker who makes cards for Cards 4 the Troops) when I visited her in California in October of 2010.

Some of the circles are punched from a magazine and some are punched from scrap paper... which I tend to have TOO much of.  Anyone who knows me, knows that scraps are my nemesis.  After punching, I arranged the circles on the page, taped them down and proceeded to sew them in place.  I've done many color combos since I learned this but I had never tried "blues and greens" until yesterday.  I love the result...

The first card is one I purchased in a "kit".  The second and third are my CAS of it.  Although they could be Valentine's cards, they serve their purpose with OWH as "Love" cards...

Merry Christmas Cindy, we have started a blog for you and your cards.  With the help of Ernie, we were able to obtain some of your cards to start your display.

Of course, this first post here is just a welcome and something to get you started.

To help you get going, rather than write a bunch of instructions down for you, the next time you are down in Jersey we will come over and help/teach you what you need to know to get started on your own, so you can display and share all your wonderful cards with anyone and everyone.
