Christmas in May...

I almost didn't make it... only one day left in May.  AND I didn't get my five done to meet my challenge... :(  But three is better than none, right?!!

These cards are all made with napkins and Mod Podge.  The one on the far left is from a package I have.  I'm not pleased with the sentiment chosen but I wanted something oval and could not find anything "Christmasy" to fit the bill.

The one in the middle is a collage of deli paper prints, napkins and mesh.

The one on the right is from a napkin I received from Peggy B... it was so lovely without a sentiment.

Although very fun to do, I felt very limited as to what I can turn into a card with a napkin...

  1. Ooooh, very nice, and the first one has non-traditional colors too. Perfect for one of those friends that doesn't want any religious sentiment on their holiday card at all! I think you're right about the napkin from Peggy, just perfect alone. I'm trying to figure out what to do with my napkin art too, and it's not as easy as it would first appear! And I really, really, really have to get in gear with my Christmas cards, Um, 6 months at 5 cards a month,..I have to make 30 now. (hangs head)

  2. Your cards are very beautiful and I find that not much is needed to be done with napkin cards. A small sentiment works, I have seen other more elaborate cards and I don't like them as well. Just let the pretty napkin do the work!!!1
