I took a Northwoods Card Class at my LSS yesterday and it fits in nicely with the Midweek Throwdown on the Stars and Stamps Blog of Operation Write Home. These were colored in with copics that were supplied by the class. Some of these colors were a little dry from overuse so I struggled with blending. I would however, like to add a couple of these to my collection. I loved the Honey (Y38) and Green Apple (G14), they were lovely.
Very pretty! I think it looks great!
ReplyDeleteCindy, I think your card is so beautiful! I love how the calla lilies are bursting beyond the frame. Great coloring job - dry markers or not, I think you did a beautiful job blending the colors.
ReplyDeleteCindy - your card is beautiful! Looks like you really got alot out of your card class! I always admire your work - and your coloring! Great job :>)
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy, welcome to the MWT! Great way to start with your beautiful card! I love that stamp, your coloring, and the depth of your card. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you joined the Midweek Challenge! All your cards are stunning, especially the challenge flowered one. Wow, you have a good eye for design and colors. I peaked at your Christmas card as well. Gorgeous ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card for your first OWH submission! You really rocked the challenge in a big way - these flowers look amazing and so colorful! Looking forward to seeing you again :)
ReplyDeleteYou may have struggled with the Copics, but it was wel worth it. You did a fantastc job with the coloring. What stamp is that?
ReplyDeleteI think this stamp is made by Northwoods since that was the name of the class. I really, really like it so I'll probably be buying it at the same time I buy those two copic colors, then I'll know for sure who makes it... :)
DeleteWhat a beautiful card Cindy! I think your wish list of colors from the class will be used a lot. Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!
ReplyDeleteVery nice coloring work Cindy! The black layers also frame it so beautifully. This came out great.
