Inchies...

This was pretty fun to make.  I CASE'd it off a card I saw on Pinterest (see here).  I picked out some scraps that I thought were matchy, matchy and cut them into inchies...

Then, the fun part... embellishing the squares. I did some faux stitching, added sequins, gems, flowers and a heart then voilà, eight more for my box... :)

  1. Great work Cindy! I'm not always a big fan of 'inchies' designs but these are really beautiful. All the papers work perfectly together and the little added elements are a perfect finishing touch adding just the right amount of interest.I may just have to CASE your CASE if I can manage some crafty time soon! :)

  2. Cindy, these are just gorgeous! Love them all. Check out this lady's Pinterest account: http://www.pinterest.com/souvenir/mix-and-match-colors-and-patterns/ Here's her blog: http://myscrapbasket.blogspot.fr/

I don't usually "spam" a comment with hyperlinks, but I think you will really enjoy seeing her work. Have a great Fourth of July!

  3. These really are pretty. I've tried inches before too, with poor result. I think the added embellies are what make them just work! Of course, your paper choices are terrific too. I may have to CASE them too. :) TFS
