As many of you know, I've challenged myself to make a minimum of five Christmas cards a month and have done so for the past six years. First for Operation Write Home and now for my personal stash. Last year, I was SOOOO pleased to have a wide variety of cards to send to several different people, including thirty-two DIFFERENT for the Ernman's co-workers. Last night, Sherry and I were messaging and challenged each other to get five done BEFORE bedtime. Since it was already 7pm, that was challenging in more ways than one for me...
Bling in the center? Or no bling? I can't tell which I like better. I'm leaning toward no bling...
I finished up about 9:30pm... with SIX done! Off and running for 2017. YAY! Sherry sent a picture of HER card and it's phenomenal. We both are ahead of the game and this was motivating doing it WITH someone, if only virtually.. :)
Very pretty. Would you share your cut sizes please? Thanks

Absolutely! The red piece is 5.5" x 4.25", manila piece is 5" x 3.75" and the green border is just an 1/8 of an inch more than the manila piece. The little pieces are "inchies" or 1" x 1"...
DeleteThat is awesome. I need to kick myself in the butt and get moving but right now it is too cold in my room.
ReplyDeletelove them, no bling, they are pretty without it
ReplyDeleteAwesome idea. Love the cards
ReplyDeleteSO lovely. I may have to steal this design. Works perfectly with Christmas papers and I always love the Dotted Swiss EF. You get a gold star.
ReplyDeleteAlways LOVE your accolades... ;)
DeleteI think it would be very versatile to use any themed paper for the squares with different sentiments. Simple to make while looking elegant. Thank you for sharing.

I may have to steal your design, would be a great way to use scraps. These are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI lean towards no bling... but probably because I'd be worry that the PO machines might eat it. Great work Cindy!
