The Tuesday Tutorial over on the Stars and Stamps blog yesterday was a lesson on turning one 6" x 6" pad into several cards. When I first saw this by Kristie a few months ago, I gave it a shot with a couple pages from an existing pad. The couple I did came out great! It was enlightening to learn that all the papers in such a pad are color coordinated... how great is that! I always wanted to try to do a whole pad and I took the opportunity today to do just that. This pad is called "World Traveler" by Teresa Collins. I spent hours and hours doing these. The final total was seventeen cards. And if I wasn't so tired right now, I'm sure I could make a few more with the scraps that are left...
Dang, I sure would call that a productive day!! Way to go Cindy and each and every card is beautiful!!! Great job!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! These are awesome!!!!!!! Great job, Cindy!
ReplyDeleteWonderful job Cindy! Doesn't it feel so great to use the entire paper pad and use up all those little scraps? I think this was the paper pad I used from the last picture I posted on OWH's facebook page. And the cards are all terrific looking!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is Kristie from the Tuesday Tutorial, by the way. :)
DeleteKristie... I LOVED when you first showed this and yes!, it was AWESOME to use up the whole pad. Next time, I have no doubt it will even go quicker now that I have a few designs under my belt. I'm SO glad OWH asked you to do this tutorial!!
DeleteLove those! Great job using Kristie's tutorial.
ReplyDeleteFabulous! I am really impressed how the cards turn out using the 6x6 pads. Great job on the card designs!
ReplyDeleteVERY impressive! I may have to give it a shot!!
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful, Cindy.
ReplyDeleteCindy these were hours very well spent. They are all beautiful and you certainly made the most of your 6 x 6 pad. Wonderful cards and effort.
ReplyDeleteWow! They all look awesome! TFS!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are so great. Love the paper pad you picked!
ReplyDeleteYou are an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great batch of cards! When you get your Simon Says Stamp kit you will find you can accomplish the same thing, but embellishments are included and makes it even easier to create because it all goes together.
ReplyDeleteWow Cindy!!!! these are great. I have so many 6 x 6 pads.. I usually just pick a page or two and cut what I need.. I seen that tutorial and have been inspired to try doing a whole pad. I made two sets of six cards the last two days.. I am going to keep on going making more.. I really like some of the layouts you used. Thanks for sharing ~ Pam
ReplyDeleteI am love, love, LOVING these! Great job using that paper pad! I have drooled over those papers before, but haven't bought it yet.
